After Salzburg, Rome and Ritz Paris, CHANEL just presented its Métiers D'art Paris-Hamburg 2017/18 collection in Hamburg, Germany. We all know that CHANEL is famous for Métiers D'art collection. Every December, Karl Lagerfeld, the Art Director of CHANEL choose a desired city for the show.

本次CHANEL高级手工坊系列的发布会场地选在了老佛爷的故乡德国汉堡的Elbphilharmonie音乐厅。该音乐厅位于汉堡港中心，由 Herzog and de Meuron 建筑事务所设计。

This year, the Hamburg-born designer Karl lagerfeld’s choice of venue is the new Elbphilharmonie concert hall, designed by Herzog & de Meuron architects.

在典型的汉堡砖式建筑地基之上，矗立起110米高的玻璃结构及波浪形屋顶，宛如 “ 玻璃皇冠 ” 般的 Elbphilharmonie 精心保存传统，又颇具未来感。独特的梯形外观，令其成为连接都市与工业港口的未来主义新地标。

Elbphilharmonie与 Karl Lagerfeld 以“过去、现在和未来”的灵感不谋而合，新作品是对这座城市的致敬，呼应了音乐厅的未来主义建筑风格，港口的氛围，还有5颜6色的集装箱，码头上的砖仓库和水手的衣服。而 Kvadrat 也参与其中。

Inspired by "thethe past, present and future", the new opus is工作服短大衣
a homage to the city, evoking the futuristic architecture of the concert hall, the atmosphere of the port with its colorful shipping containers, the brick warehouses in the docks, the seamen's clothing. And Kvadrat is also involved.

由Herzog & de Meuron建筑事务所设计的Elbphilharmonie位于德国汉堡，具有玻璃幕墙外观和波浪式屋顶。建筑依水而建，位于历史悠久的 Sandtorhafen 区，包括两个音乐厅、1个酒店和1个住宅公寓。

The Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, with its glass fa€€adeand wave-like rooftop, is designed by Herzog & de Meuron architects. Located in the historic Sandtorhafen, the waterside building accommodates two acoustically- advanced concert halls, a hotel and residential apartments.

Herzog & de Meuron也为具有2100个坐位的大音乐厅创造了内部概念。内部的其他空间则由 Besau Maguerre工作室和建筑师 Daniel Schoning 参与设计。

Herzog & de Meuron also created the interior concept for the 2,100-seat Grand Hall. This focuses on the materiality of the architecture. In doing so, it complements the other interior spaces which are designed by Studio Besau Maguerre and Architect Daniel Sch€€ning.

Elbphilharmonie 的家具与建筑中的其他设计元素调和1致。Besau Maguerre工作室的Eva Marguerre和Marcel Besau决定把他们“漂白”，这确保了建筑整体的和谐。

The furniture in the Elbphilharmonie works harmoniously with the other design elements in the building.Eva Marguerre and Marcel Besau decided to have it white or ‘decolourised’. This ensures the building does not ‘withdraw’ from performances, and that the material is placed in the foreground.
